The Falmouth Mob Match

The Falmouth Mob Match is a 5 mile road race on a undulating course with breathtaking views around Pendennis Point, Swanpool and Gillingvase beach.

Scoring calculated as first runner home gets 1 point, second runner home gets 2 points, third runner home gets 3 points etc.

  • The points from the first 12 home from each club will be totalled to determine the winners
  • Runners finishing outside the first 12 of their own club will affect the opposition’s final score by pushing the other clubs’ scoring runners further down the field
  • The winning club will be that which includes their first 12 actual runners scoring the least number of points

The start and finish of the race takes place by the side of Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth.  Registration and prize-giving is located in the Falmouth Beach Hotel opposite.   Hot bacon rolls along with a licensed bar make a great excuse to stay awhile after.
